A Hero Defeated in a London Suburb

Past the fun and booze from the taverns and pubs of Camden Town I was scatterbrained and strolling through park in the British capital When I spotted a fallen fox on the grassy ground like a soldier fallen After an unequal battle with mankind up the creek without a paddle Lay defeated unspoilt the fox like a monument nature place to shame On us lay the disgrace and gutless murder to a promising fox or vixen Such foulness founded in the park into our foul crime in the brave fox Former Londinium had foxes, badgers, skylarks and peregrine falcons Now London is barren of its creatures and nature only in patches exists I wept in silence for the precious copper auburn and white creature beside So beautiful in the grass as a wild orange hairy angel fallen from the sky A victim of human´s greed, its bravery and fearlessness killed it in the city. Confidential woe

  The sorrow has started to stir my soul to limitless sadness And I must mourn the unfinished monument of our bond Which as dew in a dusty and windy morning is drained Because the scuttlebut is so sour and scummy as a storm And your cold chilling cutting mind made decisi on to cut Our blooming beautiful bliss in a burden for our bodies That thaws my tantalizing desire to melt your bits and mind In a mild winter night you wanted to warm my wan muff And the laughter and naughty pecks on the cheeks and lips Becomes scuffled soundless weeping in a   lonely corridor In our centre where we toil and endeavour for youngsters To thrive in culture and work though our we head to cesspit I will for ever idolise and esteem you as a worthy humble man Who desired me once and with whom I enjoyed joyful days And relentless tenderness my everlasting love will shadow Your steps despite my aching heart and eternal distress.             ...
